WHAT IS the INLNA CONVENTION?
Purpose of the INLNA Convention
The purpose of the annual Icelandic
National League of North America (INLNA) Convention is to allow for the gathering of like-minded individuals of Icelandic descent or those interested in Iceland. It is both a cultural event and an opportunity to entertain and educate attendees in subjects relevant to our shared Icelandic heritage. It is the only event where the members of the board of the INLNA meet face-to- face with each other and with members of the individual clubs within the INLNA and it is where the Annual General Meeting (AGM) occurs. |
The Convention also provides the opportunity for members of individual Icelandic clubs in Canada and the US to meet with each other, share ideas, visions, and the goals of their individual clubs.
